Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

The Payer Portal provides your clients with a secure, self-service environment. If a clientโ€™s email address is associated with multiple payer records, they can access all of their information under a single login.

๐Ÿ’ณ Paying Invoices

Clients can view and pay outstanding balances directly from the portal home screen.

  • Eligibility: Only invoices created through the internal invoicing module or managed via a Connect module are visible.

  • Payment Logic: To pay multiple invoices at once, users can enter a total amount and use the Oldest to Newest feature to apply funds automatically to outstanding balances.

  • Instructions for Clients:

    1. Enter the total Amount to Pay.

    2. Click the Oldest to Newest button to auto-distribute the funds.

    3. Select a saved payment method or enter a new one.

    4. Click Submit.

๐Ÿ‘› Payment Method Manager

This is where clients manage their "Wallet" or stored payment methods. There is no limit to the number of cards or accounts a payer can store.

  • Updates: Clients can update the Name, Address, and Expiration Date of a saved card.

  • Security: For security reasons, full card numbers are never displayed, and 3-digit CVV codes are not stored.

  • Replacements: If a card number changes, the client must delete the old card and add the new one as a fresh entry.

๐Ÿ“œ Payment History

The Payment History tab provides a full audit trail of all previous transactions made through LawPay Link.
