Is the traffic encrypted?
Yes. All communication is transmitted via TLS 1.2 using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
What type of connection is made to the firm’s network?
We utilize Secure TLS (https) communication. This connection is strictly restricted: it can only be established from our authorized server (carrying the installed TLS certificate) to your server. Your server must have the matching TLS certificate and our web service installed, communicating through a specifically opened firewall port.
Data Exchange & Storage
What information is exchanged?
The integration focuses on essential billing data:
Outbound: High-level client, matter, and invoice information.
Inbound: Payment confirmation data.
Security Note: No specific invoice line-item details are exchanged, and credit card data is never transmitted to your local server through this connection.
How is information kept secure within LawPay Link?
All data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). To ensure maximum security, all data is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
