Overview
LawPay Link offers unlimited users, so we strongly recommend giving every team member their own login to ensure a clear audit trail.
⚠️ Note: You must be an Admin to access the Users, Settings, and Notifications areas.
Add a New User
Ready to grow your team? Follow these steps to get them onboarded:
Navigate to the Users tab in the left-side navigation bar.
Click the blue Add Items button located at the top of the users grid.
Enter the user's full name and email address accurately.
Select the specific permissions appropriate for their role.
Click Save to finalize the profile.
Instruct the user to check their inbox for an automated welcome email containing a link to create their password.
Password Resets & Unlocking Accounts
If a team member is locked out or forgot their password, you can get them back to work in seconds:
Go to the Users tab and locate the specific user who needs assistance.
Check the "Locked" column first to see if they’ve been barred after too many failed attempts.
Click the pen icon to enter Edit mode.
Uncheck the box next to "Locked" and click Save.
Click the Reset Password button to trigger a temporary password email.
Reactivate an Inactive User
For your protection, accounts are automatically deactivated after 90 days of inactivity. To restore access:
